Can I attend the Dutchfest this year, as normal?

Yes! This year the Shalom Dutchfest will be 'normal' - look for all your favorite activities, foods, and more!

Breakfast will be available this year on Saturday morning. The in person General Auction is also back on the schedule - look for that event after the 5K & Fun Walk.

General FAQs

Where do I purchase children's wristbands?

Wristbands will be presold online to Shalom families closer to the event - watch the Parent Letter for details.

Wristbands will also be available to the general public at the Information Booth.

You can also pay for children's activities individually with tokens.

What happens if it rains?

The Shalom Dutchfest will be held rain or shine.

Who benefits from the funds raised at Dutchfest?

All proceeds help support Shalom Christian Academy. Funds are used to help support the school’s annual operating costs.

Is there an admission or parking cost?

There is no entrance fee or parking fee at the Shalom Dutchfest.

How do I become a craft vendor?

Applications for vendors at Dutchfest 2024 will open soon. Look at the activities page for the form when it's posted.

Auction FAQs

Do I have to pick up purchased items that day?

We encourage all General Auction items to be taken the day of the auction.

Online auction pickup times are TBD. Look for more info coming soon.

Does Shalom ship purchased items?

No, Shalom does not ship items.

Can I pay for items with credit card?

Yes! For the General Auction, we accept debit or credit - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

For the online auction, payments are processed through our partner and sponsor Hurley Auctions.

Can I donate items to the auction?

YES!! We gladly welcome donations to our auctions. You can drop off auction items to our High School office during regular operating hours – Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

How do I get a bidder number to bid on auction items?

Some items will be available to bid in person only at the General Auction, and some items are online only through Hurley Auctions.

A bidder number for in person auctions can be obtained at the Information booth at the Dutchfest on Friday night or Saturday.

Food FAQ's

Do I have to purchase tokens to buy food or drinks?

Yes, in order to accommodate requests for cash and credit card, we have implemented the token system for ALL food or drink purchases. You MUST purchase Dutchfest Food & Drink Tokens with your credit card OR cash and then pay for food and drinks.

We will NOT accept cash or credit cards at the food building, you must purchase Tokens before getting in line to order your food or drinks.

Tokens come in $1 and $5 denominations. Please note - Tokens change will not be given at the food stations. Change can be made at the Token Trailer. These tokens can be used year after year. All sales final. Tokens have no cash value.

Where do I buy Dutchfest Food & Drink Tokens?

Purchase Dutchfest Food Tokens at the Token Tent – conveniently located near the food building. We will NOT accept cash or credit cards at the food building, you must purchase Tokens before getting in line to order your food or drinks.

I didn't use all my tokens. Can I get a refund?

Sorry, all token sales are final. They can be used to purchase food or drink at a future Dutchfest.
